In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting customer quotations through accurate raw material pricing. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while adhering to budget constraints. Your experience in purchasing will be invaluable as you actively monitor and expedite outstanding orders, ensuring production schedules are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather raw material pricing for customer quotations
• Review MRP outputs for raw material needs
• Confirm product price and lead time with suppliers
• Purchase materials based on production schedules
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders effectively
Requirements:
• 5+ years in a purchasing or similar role
• Proficiency in MS-Excel and ERP/MRP systems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
• Relevant degree or certification considered an asset
