Cargo Operations Agent

Position: Cargo Operations Agent at Canadian North
Become a vital part of Canadian North’s cargo team in Ottawa, ON. This role focuses on customer service and logistics, ensuring safe cargo processing and shipment.

As a Cargo Agent, you’ll engage in customer service related to cargo operations, assisting customers with their cargo packages. Your responsibilities will include processing shipment data, maintaining records, and facilitating claims for damaged goods. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in cargo or ramp operations and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with Company and MOT Standards and Regulations

• Assist customers with claims for damaged or missing goods

• Maintain accurate operational records

• Process load control data and issue Airway Bills

• Conduct radio communications with aircraft

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience

• One (1) year of cargo-related experience

• Knowledge of Canadian North’s cargo systems

• Ability to handle dangerous goods (certification required)

• Strong organizational and communication skills
