Wash bay Labourer

Title: Wash Bay Labourer
Pay: $20/hr
Shifts: Monday
- Friday
Hours: 8am-5pm
Location: Ottawa, ON
- South-East

We're actively hiring on behalf of a large Industrial Detailing company that has been in operation in Ottawa and Surrounding areas for 31 years. Within this role you will be playing a key role to the operations of the Wash-bay department. You will be working closely with other team members to detail large commercial trucks inside and out.

Responsibilities:

• Clean vehicle exterior by hand, use of pressure washer, brush, or operating washing equipment
• Ability to Polish, Wax, and Buff the Exterior Body of the Car/Truck
• Regular cleanup of workstation
• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition
• Moving and parking vehicles
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Steel-toed boots for safety reasons
• Previous experience within Cleaning or Detailing is considered an Asset
• Full G Class license to move vehicles in and out of the wash bay
• Criminal Record Check may be required as part of the onboarding process

Working environment/safety:

• Working in a humid and damp environment
• Regular use of Cleaning Chemicals
• Continuous Repetitive hand movement
• Long periods of standing
