Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic

Summary

The Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of outdoor power equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition are key components of this position.

$20 to $30/hr
Pay could be more if the candidate has shop management experience.

Monday to Friday
7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in power equipment repair. The individual is required to have a solid work ethic and be aware that time is of the essence in repairing equipment for customers who depend on a quick turnaround. This especially pertains to commercial customers who require equipment in order to conduct their business.

The position is full-time. There is a probationary period of six months whereby performance will be evaluated. Work performance is evaluated on an on-going basis in order to deal with issues, if any, as they arise. Candidate must have the ability to work in a team environment.
