Job Summary
- Ensure the optimal mechanical operation of service vehicles through routine inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting problems when required.
- Update the Fleet Management System with vehicle details, allocations and returned vehicle details as appropriate.
- Keep records of who is using which vehicle and when by monitoring and directing daily distributions of vehicles as per transport policy.
- Prepare documentation to assist the Fleet Administrator in vehicle licensing, inspections and registrations.
- Maintain the physical appearance of the site by keeping vehicles and the garage area clean.
- High school diploma from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.
The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada, you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense through a recognized credential assessment service.
Note:
Any higher level of education could be recognized as experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in driving motor vehicles under various weather conditions with a valid and permanent Canadian driver’s license.
- Experience in data entry and scheduling appointments.
- Experience in working with managers and employees at all levels.
- Experience providing client services.
- Knowledge of mechanical or vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of building maintenance.
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
