About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager, the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs and alterations to building structures such as walls, ceilings, doors, windows, millwork, abatement, flooring, wall cladding/paneling, Gyproc, etc., while adhering to building, fire, infection prevention and control codes and regulations. The incumbent also handles small in‑house renovations and additions, including infection prevention and control hoarding as required.

All work is performed in accordance with provincial, building, fire and infection prevention codes, hospital policies and procedures. The Carpenter may perform other duties as required. Travel within the zone or other zones as needed.

About You
  • Red‑Seal Inter‑provincial or Provincial Certified Carpenter Ticket – required
  • 1 year related experience required; 4 years preferred
  • Travel between sites may be required, access to reliable transportation required
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Benefits

$31.55 – $37.31 hourly
