Facility Maintenance Worker

Position: Facility Maintenance Worker with The Erb Group
Join The Erb Group as a Facility Maintenance Worker at our Ontario terminal. This temporary position emphasizes upkeep and safety of facility areas through diverse maintenance tasks.

Working closely with management and yard staff, this role involves hands-on responsibilities in maintaining building integrity and equipment performance. You’ll lead inspections, facilitate repairs, and support general cleanliness across the premises, ensuring all areas meet safety standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough daily inspections and maintain records

• Execute various maintenance tasks as per established guidelines

• Assist with snow removal and landscaping for terminal grounds

• Ensure entrances and exits are clear and hazard-free

• Help supply necessary materials for ongoing projects

Requirements:

• At least one year of building maintenance experience

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Proficiency in repairs including caulking and lighting

• Good communication and troubleshooting skills

• Valid driver's license needed
