Join the Upper Canada District School Board as a Head Custodian and lead custodial efforts in creating clean and safe school facilities. Your leadership skills and technical knowledge will be pivotal.
In this role, you will manage custodial operations and oversee maintenance tasks across various schools. Working closely with the Facilities Operations Manager, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations while coordinating with the custodial team. Your advanced problem-solving abilities will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute daily custodial operations and uphold cleanliness standards
• Manage and inspect facility maintenance needs regularly
• Provide training and guidance to custodial staff
• Coordinate logistics during community use of facilities
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies effectively
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma and post-secondary Building Environmental Systems certification
• At least five years of relevant maintenance experience
• Strong technical aptitude in building systems
• Valid driver’s license with vehicle access
• Capable of learning new systems and processes efficiently
