Skilled Maintenance Technician

Position: Skilled Maintenance Technician Wanted
Join Ellis Don as a Skilled Facility Maintenance Technician. Oversee equipment maintenance and lead urgent repairs while ensuring high standards of safety and compliance in your work.

In this role, you'll manage facility equipment and respond promptly to service requests. As a Maintenance Technician, you will lead tradespeople, conduct safety inspections, and help maintain compliance with various safety protocols. Your experience in a medical or healthcare setting will be a distinct advantage in performing these critical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate all equipment and tools in facilities

• Address emergency and routine service requests

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of equipment

• Guide subcontractors on maintenance and repairs

• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in all tasks

Requirements:

• 1–3 years maintenance experience preferred

• Completed Building Environmental Services (BES) 1 & 2

• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS)

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

• Capacity for physical work, including seasonal operations
