About the OpportunityOur client, a well‑established property management organization, is seeking a hands‑on and service‑focused Building Operator to support a residential portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, comfortable living environments and enjoys being the go‑to person for residents and day‑to‑day operations.
You will work closely with property management and residents to ensure a seamless living experience. From responding to service requests to maintaining building systems, your work will directly contribute to resident satisfaction and the overall success of the community.

Your Responsibilities- You’ll respond promptly to resident inquiries and service requests, ensuring a high standard of customer service
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances
- Act as a key liaison between residents and property management, supporting clear communication and issue resolution
- Conduct regular inspections of units, common areas, and building systems to maintain safety and quality standards
- Coordinate move‑ins and move‑outs, and oversee external contractors to ensure work is completed effectively
- Support emergency response needs, including after‑hours on‑call duties when required
- 2+ years of experience in building operations or a related environment
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team
- Proven problem‑solving skills with a proactive and preventative mindset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
