Custodial Services at Prespatou School

Prespatou School is looking for a dedicated Custodian to maintain a safe and clean school environment. This part-time role requires 4-hour shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays and full 8-hour shifts on Wednesdays.

As a Custodian, you'll perform essential cleaning duties, minor maintenance, and ensure all areas are secured. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of relevant experience, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The position includes adherence to safety standards and work with various cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disinfect and clean school interiors and exteriors

• Ensure security of windows and doors

• Conduct minor repairs on school facilities

• Manage daily tasks based on prioritized needs

• Assist with seasonal scrubbing and waxing tasks

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education or equivalent

• Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred

• Class 5 driver’s license and vehicle access

• Completion of WHMIS training during probation

• Must clear a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check
