In this full-time position as Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all maintenance activities, ensuring a safe environment for residents while motivating your team. You will direct routine maintenance, manage expenditures, and oversee recruitment processes that align with organizational standards. Collaborating with executive management will also be crucial for addressing operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct maintenance department effectiveness and operations

• Manage team performance and routine safety checks

• Handle budgeting and explain expenditure variances

• Oversee recruitment and onboarding of team members

• Liaise with contractors for specialized repair work

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Building Systems required

• 3+ years of management experience necessary

• Health and Safety Certification (levels 1 and
2)

• Knowledge of HVAC and emergency systems

• Proficient in reading building prints and drawings
