In this position, you will report to the Superintendent, Property Management. Your responsibilities will include supervising hourly staff, managing daily operations, and conducting risk assessments. This role is crucial for maintaining the beauty and safety of public spaces managed by Credit Valley Conservation, making a positive impact on the local environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on monthly and seasonal work plans
• Train staff on operational equipment and safety
• Ensure project deadlines are met and supported
• Conduct safety inspections of conservation areas
• Execute trail and facility maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in parks or resource management
• Minimum of 2 years in park operations
• Chainsaw Operator Certification required
• Experience in supervising hourly staff
• Ability to operate various maintenance equipment
