Part-Time Housekeeping Aide at Extendicare

This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all resident spaces, including furniture and fixtures. You will operate various cleaning equipment while adhering to safety protocols. We prioritize respect for resident rights and offer in-service training to enhance your skills and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean according to assigned schedules using sanitation methods

• Maintain apartments and common areas throughout the facility

• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment

• Strip, scrub, and buff all floor surfaces as needed

• Attend staff meetings and in-service training sessions

Requirements:

• Strong English communication skills

• Previous experience in institutional cleaning desirable

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check

• Capability to meet physical job demands
