Hotel Maintenance Handyperson Position

Enhance your maintenance skills at Germain Hotels as a Maintenance Handyperson, responsible for crucial repairs and general upkeep for our hotel complex.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this role involves a mix of interior and exterior maintenance tasks. You will engage in building mechanics, electrical work, plumbing, painting, and various repairs. Ideal candidates will bring a strong work ethic and physical stamina to tackle daily maintenance demands effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual inspections of equipment regularly

• Participate actively in preventive maintenance procedures

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and schedule activities accordingly

• Address interior and exterior maintenance issues

• Report and rectify defective systems proactively

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building maintenance

• High school diploma or equivalent mechanical training preferred

• Physically fit to handle heavy materials and perform intensive labor

• Ability to lift objects up to 100 pounds

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
