Maintenance Technician Museums

Support operational excellence as a Junior Maintenance Mechanic. Engage in hands-on maintenance tasks while ensuring visitor satisfaction at two key museum sites.

In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the Canada Aviation and Space Museum and the Canada Science and Technology Museum. Key duties include performing daily checks, managing minor repairs across various systems, and assisting with special event setups. Your contributions help create a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify operational systems each day

• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance

• Inspect building exteriors regularly

• Respond to maintenance service requests

• Provide logistical support for special events

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Completion of HVAC or building maintenance courses an asset

• Bilingual in French and English preferred

• Customer service experience necessary

• Capable of working in varying weather conditions
