Part-Time Zamboni Driver East

Maintain pristine ice surfaces as a part-time Zamboni Driver at Richcraft Sensplex in Ottawa East. Contribute to the ice resurfacing process and ensure safety while operating machinery.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating the Zamboni and performing essential maintenance on ice surfaces. You'll edge ice before games, shovel snow, and ensure resurfacing aligns with facility standards and schedules. Your commitment to health and safety, as mandated by the Occupational Health & Safety Act, is crucial in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Zamboni and motorized equipment effectively

• Edge ice prior to events for safety and performance

• Shovel snow at exit doors to maintain access

• Resurface ice pads according to facility schedules

• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on ice equipment

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Experience driving an ice resurfacer

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs)

• Knowledge of ice resurfacing materials and safety precautions
