Position: CPDMH Housekeeping/Linen Aide Role

Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital is hiring a Housekeeping/Linen Aide who will focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. This temporary full-time role requires physical endurance and attention to detail.

The position of Housekeeping/Linen Aide involves adhering to strict hygiene standards and preventing cross-infection. Candidates should have at least one year of experience along with the ability to lift and carry heavy loads while operating necessary cleaning equipment. Strong communication skills to follow specific instructions are also necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize patient and visitor areas

• Operate cleaning machinery effectively

• Lift and transport linens and cleaning supplies

• Adhere to sanitation protocols diligently

• Assist in preventing cross-contamination

Requirements:

• Successful completion of Grade 11

• Minimum one year in a housekeeping role

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks

• Basic hygiene knowledge preferred
