Janitor Position at Darling International

Join Darling International as a Janitor at our Dundas, Ontario plant on a day shift schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll maintain cleanliness and safety in various facilities while delivering supplies across the property.

This 6-month contract role requires you to have 1-3 years of experience in janitorial or industrial settings. You'll be responsible for cleaning various areas including offices, restrooms, and conference rooms while ensuring a sanitary environment. Delivering supplies and other items to nearby buildings is a vital part of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned facilities and outdoor grounds

• Deliver supplies and items to nearby buildings

• Maintain safety protocols during cleaning tasks

• Follow management directions for assigned duties

• Adapt to various cleaning challenges as they occur

Requirements:

• 1-3 years' experience in relevant settings

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing physical tasks
