Keep Laurier Manor clean and safe as an Extendicare Housekeeper in Ottawa, with casual day, evening, or weekend opportunities available.
This part time Housekeeper supports residents and staff at Laurier Manor Home. You will follow cleaning routines, use specified disinfecting agents, protect resident privacy, and apply infection prevention, safety, and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and disinfect resident rooms daily
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors
- Dust and spot clean walls, windows, and doors
- Remove waste and rearrange furniture as needed
- Attend assigned meetings and mandatory education
- Ability to follow established safety practices and procedures
- Comfort with heavy lifting and moving equipment
- Ability to climb ladders and work around wet floors
- Comfort with exposure to biochemical agents
- Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
