Reporting to the Manager, Campus Services Operations, the incumbent installs, maintains and repairs all existing commercial equipment including gas, steam and electrical cooking equipment located in associated food service departments of Carleton University.
The incumbent is responsible for gas, steam and electrical repairs and maintenance for machines and appliances to include but not limited to the following;
Industrial dishwashers, convection and conveyor ovens, char broilers, gas ovens, steamers and steam generators, various beverage dispensers, meat slicers, mixers, toasters, plate dispensers, food warmer cabinets, hot line, dessert display, chopper, trolleys, fryers, salad bars, fridges and freezers (mechanical side only), racks, milk dispensers, can openers, steam kettle, tilt fry pans, sandwich sealer, proofer, conveyer belt unit, chaffing equipment, grills and flat tops etc.
