The Facilities Assistant works under the Facilities Manager’s general direction on moderately complex assignments. Responsibilities span building maintenance, woodworking, electrical, plumbing, painting, cleaning, and light construction. The position also supports projects through procurement, materials preparation, and coordination with service suppliers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventive maintenance and general building repairs
- Prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and tools for projects
- Coordinate with service suppliers and outside contractors
- Complete painting, plumbing, electrical, woodworking, and cleanup tasks
- Ensure licensing, health, safety, and statutory compliance
- Experience in facilities maintenance or related activities
- Project management experience
- Procurement experience
- Technical ability with AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office
- Ability to obtain a Gaming License
Support Great Canadian facilities through maintenance, project coordination, regulatory compliance, and practical repair expertise across assigned areas.
