Maintain hard floors, washrooms, carpets, and common areas as a Heavy Duty Cleaner with GDI Services. Use cleaning equipment across two buildings.
GDI provides integrated facility maintenance services across the United States and Canada. As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, you will clean building interiors, collect garbage, and restock washroom supplies. The work includes detailed surface care, waste handling, and reporting defects to supervisors. You will also assist the supervisor when additional help is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, wash, strip, and wax interior floors
- Clean carpets and windows when requested
- Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily
- Collect building trash and replace container liners
- Report clogged urinals, defective lights, and other issues
- Use cleaning tools and equipment effectively
- Take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Work cooperatively as part of a team
- Provide own transportation between two buildings
- Lift up to 50 pounds and pass background check
