Reporting to the Health & Safety Supervisor, you will be part of the Health & Safety Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships to provide technical expertise and guidance with internal stakeholders to ensure all business needs are well understood and satisfied from the health and safety (HS) perspective;

Participate in the preparation of HS team and site health and safety performance monitoring / activity reporting requirements;

Execute analyzing to identify, and measure workplace hazards that can cause sickness, impaired health, or significant discomfort in workers; gather information and submit reports, interface with departments;

Analyze and utilize performance monitoring to drive continuous improvement initiatives;

Implement HS management systems and practices, taking into account quality, cost, safety, production and overall business needs;

Support the HS management system software solution e-compliance by working with others to implement, provide training and manage the administration of the system(s);
