Remote Janitorial Housekeeping Custodian

Use janitorial and housekeeping skills as a Building Custodian supporting Nasittuq’s remote Arctic Canada sites. This permanent role follows a six-weeks-on, six-weeks-off rotation.

Working with the North Warning System, you will keep facilities sanitary, clean employee rooms, and support kitchen operations. The position includes daily custodial work, professional responses to visitors, and prompt reporting of concerns. Strong interpersonal skills and reliability are important.

• Perform janitorial and housekeeping tasks
• Clean employee rooms during vacancy periods
• Unload and stock kitchen foodstuffs
• Respond promptly to colleague and visitor inquiries
• Report concerns immediately to the supervisor

• Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience considered an asset
• Reliable, team-oriented approach with interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
• Valid driver’s license preferred
