Support infection prevention at HGH Main Campus in Hawkesbury as a part-time, on-site Hygiene and Sanitation Attendant. Clean rooms and common areas efficiently.
This temporary 0.7 FTE position supports smooth movement between different units and helps accommodate new patients quickly. You will clean and disinfect rooms after patients leave, while maintaining clean common areas. Initiative, discretion, adaptability, and interpersonal skills are important for patient interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure infection prevention throughout assigned areas
Clean and disinfect rooms after patients leave
Keep common areas clean and disinfected
Support smooth flow between different units
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with housekeeping and infection control techniques
Ability to lift and carry objects
Ability to perform repetitive movements
Practical French and English knowledge
Bring initiative, discretion, and infection control experience to patient-focused sanitation services at HGH Main Campus in Hawkesbury.
