Cogir Senior Living seeks a Housekeeping Aide for its Alta Vista residence. The position includes institutional cleaning, floor care equipment, sanitation procedures, and resident-focused service. Work includes apartments, common areas, kitchens, washrooms, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, and windows.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean assigned areas according to established schedules
- Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment
- Strip, scrub, spray, and buff floor surfaces
- Collect garbage and transport it to designated areas
- Prepare documentation and attend required meetings and training
- Good oral and written English communication skills
- Knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet the job's physical requirements
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
