Job SummaryLead the Services Environment team to deliver high quality, timely environmental services on complex, high risk projects.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership for environmental service delivery across all sectors.
- Manage large scale projects and programs, including budget, schedule and program resources.
- Ensure quality control by reviewing and coordinating work statement and deliverables from consultants and contractors.
- Develop and implement project and program plans.
- Provide technical support or direct procurement and market management activities.
- Promote and manage opportunities for business expansion.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships within the company and with industry, partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, in line with company and client expectations.
- Manage risks.
- Perform HR functions such as coaching, supervision, mentorship, resource allocation and performance management.
- Develop environmental procedures, policies and guidelines.
- Develop and manage service level agreements.
- Develop plans and budgets.
- Consult and present public speaking to promote programs.
- Support regional audits and implement recommendations for improvement.
- Perform other tasks on request.
Bilingual in English and French required. Candidates who do not meet bilingual requirement may also apply.
Knowledge and Experience- Best practices, methods, trends, and legislation in environmental science and engineering.
- Best practices and trends in financial management and human resources management.
- Project management and risk management principles.
- Health and safety management.
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental science, environmental engineering or related field and six years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
- Preferred:
Specialized knowledge, training and certification (where applicable) in one or more Environmental Services sectors.
- Use appropriate software and operating systems.
- Apply project management and risk management techniques.
- Demonstrate leadership and HR management skills.
