CMHP Program Manager (Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program)
Lockheed Martin – Trumbull, CT. This position is part of the Rotary and Mission Systems business area, supporting engineering, systems integration, training, sustainment and in‑service support programs for Canadian and international military customers across land, air and sea.
WHAT WE'RE DOINGThis role will be working out of our Trumbull, CT office and will be responsible for the cost, schedule, technical performance and contract close‑out of Acquisition and Set‑up Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) within the Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program (CMHP).
THE WORK- Lead negotiations focused on contract close‑out of the Acquisition and In‑Service Support (ISS) Set‑up CLINs
- Lead the strategy development and resulting business actions required to close out the Set‑up CLINs
- Generate proposals, business plans, statements of work and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
- Act as primary interface with our Canadian customers at Department of National Defence (DND) and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) to negotiate closure of remaining requirements within the CMHP Setup CLINs, ensuring continuity and support of sustainment program obligations and objectives
- Focus on remaining Request for Deviations (RFDs) including Sea State 6, Electronic Support Measures (ESM)/Radar Warning Receiver (RWR), Torpedo Drop, Operational Support Readiness Verification (OSRV), and Training Setup requirements
- Lead the program cross‑functional team and direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, contractual, financial, and administrative areas
- Expert knowledge and experience in Program Management disciplines, including (but not limited to) Contracts, Technical and Financial elements
- Expert team‑building and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience leading large cross‑functional teams
- Well organized with a determined work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to obtain and hold a Canadian SECRET clearance
- Master’s in business administration degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Negotiation and Contract Management background
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications
Project or Program Management Certification - Holds a valid SECRET clearance
