of this process:

The intent of this staffing process is to create a Pre-Qualified Pool (PQP) of EX-04 qualified individuals to fill current and future vacant EX-04 positions within the CRA.

Important information about the job:

Deputy Assistant Commissioners (DAC) play an important role in supporting both operational delivery and corporate objectives of a headquarters branch. They share the mandate, delegated authority, and accountability with the Assistant Commissioner responsible for the given branch. As a DAC with the CRA, in addition to contributing to the overall management of a branch, you may also lead and oversee CRA-wide major projects or initiatives linked to a specific branch, or lead a CRA program/project with the goal to build and sustain a digital world-class tax and benefit administration that is trusted, fair and helpful, by putting people first.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner positions require on‑site presence. As such, candidates who do not reside within commuting distance of the work location will be required to indicate their willingness to relocate.

CRA executives are required to work on-site at a CRA-approved location five (5) days per week.

    Persons who occupy a substantive position at the EX-03 group and level (or equivalent) or higher within the Federal Public Service, including Crown corporations and agencies.

  • Have a record of strong performance and evidence of readiness to assume responsibilities at the EX-04 level.
