Distribution Centre Shift Manager

Lead day-shift outbound operations with people leadership, coaching, and accountability at Canadian Tire Corporation’s advanced distribution centre. Guide supervisors and frontline employees.
As Shift Manager, you will lead approximately four supervisors and 40 to 50 frontline employees. The environment features goods-to-person technology, automated material movement, and extensive sortation infrastructure. Your leadership will support employee development, operational coordination, safety practices, and departmental improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Address employee relations concerns and escalations
- Coach employees and supervisors through performance management
- Conduct employee investigations as required
- Plan short-term resources with Production Control
- Ensure adherence to building safety practices
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- People leadership experience in distribution operations or equivalent
- Availability for a three-week rotational schedule
- Availability for weekdays and occasional weekends
- Ability to support fast-paced, high-tech operations
