Direct production, mobile fleet performance, and workforce utilisation as Mine Manager for a significant Eastern Canada hard-rock operation. The arrangement is site-based and rotational.
Xtrava Group is supporting a major mining company seeking an experienced senior operational leader. You will oversee daily mining delivery, mine execution, production, and drill and blast while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Strong communication and autonomy are central to success.
Key Responsibilities:- Own operational performance across the mining site
- Ensure activities meet schedule and budget requirements
- Lead supervisors, mining teams, and site personnel
- Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Previous Mine Manager or senior operational leadership experience
- Strong understanding of drill and blast and mine execution
- Knowledge of equipment and workforce utilisation
- Accountability for safety, people, and operational performance
- Ability to communicate with teams and senior stakeholders
