Support library operations and patron services as a full-time Assistant Branch Manager with Carroll County Public Library. Use computer and customer service experience daily.
This Assistant Branch Manager supports day-to-day branch operations under moderate supervision. The work includes circulation, reference activities, computer assistance, and routine clerical tasks. You will also process materials, maintain overdue records, and support financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Branch Manager with daily branch operations
- Conduct circulation and reference activities for patrons
- Process library materials using the automated system
- Provide e-reading, computer, copier, and research assistance
- Collect fines and ensure weekly branch deposits
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Library, computer, and customer service experience
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Availability for full-time, evening, and Saturday hours
- Passport acceptance agent certification within twelve weeks
