Drive product development and assortment execution for Giant Tiger at its Ottawa Head Office, working onsite three days weekly. Support six customer-facing categories.
This Production Manager leads development from concept through production and delivery, connecting merchant priorities with successful commercialization. You will manage quality, cost, timing, packaging, sourcing and critical paths. The hybrid schedule includes occasional trips to Giant Tiger’s Montreal Buying Office and international travel up to once per quarter.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate business objectives into production priorities and resources
- Lead development and execution across the assigned portfolio
- Coordinate cross-functional production against assortment requirements
- Protect supply continuity through proactive risk mitigation
- Optimize development, sourcing and production processes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, retail or related discipline
- Five to seven years’ progressive product development experience
- Strong knowledge of quality, packaging and commercialization processes
- Experience delivering margin, quality, timing and assortment objectives
- Experience leading a team and using PLM systems
Use product development, critical path management and team leadership skills to advance Giant Tiger’s Ottawa retail production priorities.
