About the roleWe are seeking a Recruiter to help scale our Credo Team in Ottawa, ON. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role manages the full recruitment lifecycle from partnering with hiring managers to define needs, to sourcing and evaluating candidates, to guiding them through interviews and offer acceptance. The Recruiter ensures a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for both candidates and internal teams.
This is a 6‑month contract role with the potential to transition to a permanent position based on business needs and performance.
Responsibilities- Sourcing excellence:
Work closely with hiring managers to define what "excellent" looks like for a given role. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build pipelines of highly qualified candidates, leveraging our tools and creative outreach. - Deliver an exceptional candidate experience: clear expectations, consistent updates, and empathy throughout
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct screenings to evaluate candidates fit.
- Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing technical talent
- 3+ years of recruiting experience in Engineering roles
- Must have 2+ years of experience with Linked In Recruiter
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple searches and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative and acts with a sense of urgency
