Adecco is currently hiring for several Assembly Operators in Ottawa, ON to work for our client, a medical device manufacturer who is dedicated to advancing diagnostic technology to improve patient care.

If you have previous experience in a manufacturing environment and you have strong attention to detail, this job is for you!

This role requires Canadian Education or Degree or WES Certification.

  • Location: Ottawa, ON

  • Pay rate: $23.69/hour

  • Shifts: 6:30PM - 6:30AM

  • Job type: Ongoing assignment

  • Responsibilities:

  • Properly uses equipment and materials and is careful about observing safety and security procedures. Meets standards with a commitment to excellence. Looks for ways to improve quality.

  • Focuses to produce error-free work. Considers accuracy, neatness, and adherence to procedures.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to increase productivity and works to a pace to ensure goals are met.

  • Begins work on time, gives advance notice when time off is needed. Meets guidelines for sick leave.

  • Encourages, supports and actively contributes to the team.

  • Understands and comply with applicable EH&S policies and procedures.

  • Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / Canadian education / Degree or WES certified

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to work in a fast paced, repetitive environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • An effective team player

  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel and Word

  • Clean criminal record

  • Flexibility to work 12hour shifts including weekends

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
