Equipment Maintenance Technician – Night Shift
What’s the Job?
The Equipment Maintenance Technician supports and maintains manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable production operations. This includes troubleshooting, repair work, preventive maintenance, and assisting with equipment upgrades and projects.
- Base rate: $24.84/hr
- Night shift premium: $2.48/hr (10%)
Shift Details
6:45 PM – 7:00 AM | 12.25‑hour rotating shifts
Night shift only (rotating 2‑week schedule):
- Week 1:
Sun, Mon, Tues - Week 2:
Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain and calibrate pneumatic, electronic, and electrical systems.
- Install, align, dismantle, and repair mechanical and control components.
- Read procedures, schematics, and blueprints to diagnose equipment issues.
- Support daily production and R&D activities.
- Document maintenance work accurately.
- Communicate equipment issues to Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
- Electro-Mechanical or Electrical/Mechanical Technician Diploma
or equivalent experience - Experience with electro-mechanical equipment maintenance
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with change-control processes (medical device environments)
- Mechanical/automation aptitude for troubleshooting
- Experience in medical device or electronics manufacturing
