Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting warehouse, production, and outbound fulfillment operations. In this role, you’ll ensure that materials, equipment, and finished robots move efficiently through the supply chain—from vendor delivery, to production kitting, to safe and timely shipment to customers worldwide. You will coordinate schedules, documentation, and communication to keep logistics activities running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for kitting and manage stock for production.
• Store and handle parts for assembly and testing.
• Ship out completed products efficiently.
• Operate a pallet jack and use an RF scanner for inventory tracking.
• Lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs) comfortably using available tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all warehouse activities.

Essential Skills

• Strong computer knowledge for tracking inventory across all departments.
• Experience in material handling and inventory control.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs).
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with crating and fleet logistics.
• Valid forklift license is a strong asset, with in-house licensing available if needed.
• Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to think and act quickly.
• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Willingness to learn crating processes quickly.

Work Environment

The warehouse and production facilities are attached and HVAC regulated, providing a comfortable working environment with plenty of natural light. The space is quiet, clean, and free of odors, with high stock shelves. The team consists of about 5-6 people at any time, including a supervisor, three workers, and a driver. This supportive setting fosters collaboration and efficiency.

This is a Contract position based out of Ottawa, ON.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
