Adecco is currently hiring a Wafer Fab Operator I for a temporary opportunity with Abbott Point of Care. This role is ideal for detail-oriented and dependable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are comfortable working in cleanroom conditions while supporting high-quality production operations.
In this position, you will be part of a collaborative production team responsible for meeting manufacturing goals, maintaining quality standards, and following strict safety and cleanroom procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in advanced manufacturing and cleanroom operations with a globally recognized organization.
- Salary: $24/hour

Temporary | Full-time - Vacancy Status: We are actively recruiting for this position.
- Work safely and effectively in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
- Operate equipment and handle materials according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Meet established production goals, metrics, and quality standards
- Produce accurate, error‑free work while maintaining attention to detail
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and EH&S policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to cleanroom protocols
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and quality
- Troubleshoot basic production or operational issues as needed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Support additional production and operational duties as assigned
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada
- High School Diploma required
- Previous manufacturing experience considered an asset
- Experience working in cleanroom environments considered an asset
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team‑based environment
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity
