• Take direction from the shift supervisor.
• Ensure the safe and optimal use of equipment, using established procedures, Lean, and 5S principles to foster improvement and achieve production goals
• Perform regular Quality checks, and ensure compliance with standards
• Develop knowledge to troubleshoot plant processes, perform equipment changeovers, as well as minor troubleshooting and repairs as necessary
• Deliver all necessary packages to the shipping personnel
• Assist in shipping and receiving duties (unloading and loading of shipments) if needed
• Operate a PIV – powered industrial vehicle
• Adjust to new demands, products, and plant priorities to support business interests
• Maintain equipment and area cleanliness
• Follow written work instructions, SOP and other documented processes
• Access electronic databases for updated procedures
• Enter production data into the electronic database
• Attend regular production employee meetings, and any other meetings related to position

• Must follow all safety policies and practices, attend required safety meetings
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) where required
• Maintain the plant, department, and work groups efforts in all safety initiatives

• Perform quality checks

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience using equipment (restaurant, retail, manufacturing, automotive, landscaping)
• Have basic understanding/ability to comprehend work instructions both written and verbal presented in the English language
