Process Technician — Morrisburg, Ontario

Introduction:
We are currently seeking a Process Technician to support manufacturing operations within a food-grade ingredient processing facility in Morrisburg, Ontario. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, maintaining product quality, and ensuring safe and effective processing operations. The successful candidate will work hands-on with automated systems to convert raw materials into high-quality finished products while adhering to strict food safety and regulatory standards.

• Operate, monitor, and perform routine cleaning of processing equipment, including spray drying and milling systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support day-to-day production to ensure minimal downtime
• Monitor product quality and perform routine checks to ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP)
• Adjust key process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates to optimize production efficiency and yield
• Conduct in-process inspections and support consistency of finished product quality
• Follow established sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and compliant production environment
• Accurately document production data, including process conditions and quality results

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Process Operations, Chemical Engineering Technology, Food Science, or a related field
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or agricultural preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with production or automated equipment
• Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP and GMP is considered an asset
• High attention to detail with the ability to monitor processes and identify inconsistencies
