Overview
Join Riverside Opticalab as an Associate Technician, where you ll sharpen your skills in a hands-on production setting. This full-time position focuses on lens mounting and edging tasks. This role involves performing essential tasks such as reception, sorting, and ensuring lenses meet quality standards in a lab setting.
Responsibilities- Handle sorting and organizing of lenses and frames
- Trace lenses and set them up for edging
- Execute blocking techniques for lens preparation
- Operate edging machines for lens customization
- Check lenses and frames to confirm accuracy
- Relevant job experience can compensate for educational background
- Fluent in English with solid communication skills
- Preference for candidates with manufacturing experience
- Must demonstrate attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Regular lifting of up to 10 pounds is required
