The Buyer role focuses on acquiring raw materials and operational supplies while achieving key goals in shipment, margin, quality, and inventory. You will actively manage procurement records and expedite material orders based on MRP messages. Your proficiency in material planning will ensure smooth operations within the production workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expedite materials by managing MRP messages

• Order and process procurement records in the MRP system

• Plan and schedule materials movement through production

• Monitor vendor performance and compliance documentation

• Meet with suppliers for product and pricing information

Requirements:

• Associate degree required

• 3-5 years of relevant purchasing experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings

• Understanding of MRP methodologies
