Position: Ottawa Production Supervisor Role
Step into the role of Production Supervisor at AGF in Ottawa. Manage a talented team in a secure, full-time, on-site position focused on optimizing production activities.

In this responsible position, you will lead a team of approximately 25 shop employees within a non-union setting. Highlights of your role will include supervising production tasks and ensuring adherence to safety regulations while enhancing team performance. Working closely with logistics and engineering will be key to resolving project challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production tasks including cutting and bending

• Ensure job specifications and deadlines are met

• Provide direction and training to team members

• Conduct toolbox talks for safety compliance

• Liaise with logistics to manage material flow

Requirements:

• 5–7+ years in a supervisory role within manufacturing

• Experience in steel fabrication or related industry

• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Valid forklift certification is advantageous
