Position: Backend Physical Design Engineer Role
Join BTA Design in Ottawa as a Backend Physical Design Engineer, focusing on advanced ASIC design and implementation. Your deep expertise in P&R and FinFET nodes will be key to our success.
We're looking for a Senior Physical Designer with 8+ years in ASIC digital P&R. This role is pivotal in the backend implementation from netlist to GDSII, addressing complex challenges in design. Work with a highly qualified team, using top EDA tools to deliver outstanding results in the electronic design community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct P&R implementation and result analysis

• Create effective floor plans for synthesis

• Push designs to timing closure and run validation

• Troubleshoot constraints and tool issues

• Collaborate to improve RTL and create effective designs
Requirements:

• 8+ years in ASIC P&R experience

• Familiarity with Synopsys or Cadence EDA tools

• Good grasp of advanced FinFET nodes and DRC

• Proven floor-planning and CTS knowledge

• Experience with timing closure techniques
