Packager in Carp

Position: Packager Role in Carp, ON
Location: Carp

Join Lee Valley in Carp, ON, as a full-time packager responsible for converting bulk products into smaller, sellable quantities. This temporary role ends in December 2026.

You will report to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, focusing on both packaging and order processing tasks. Your primary responsibilities will involve reading procedures, counting, sorting, and accurately packaging products. Additionally, you'll assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace while preparing products for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Count, sort, and bag products from bulk cases accurately

• Prepackage products into sets for distribution

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area

• Ensure accuracy during order picking and packing

• Rebox and label cases effectively for shipment

Requirements:

• Familiarity with automated packaging tools and equipment

• Capable of lifting weights over 30 pounds

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks

• Safety certification for order pickers is a plus

• Understanding of SOPs for packaging processes
