Position: Experienced Bookbinder Needed
The Canadian Bank Note Company seeks an experienced Bookbinder in Ottawa. This permanent, full-time position focuses on setting up and operating essential bindery equipment for secure document creation.

In this Bookbinder role, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise to manage the complete bindery process including cutting, collating, and stitching. Your contribution supports critical applications in government security and currency protection, playing a vital role in the manufacturing of impactful secure products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up industrial bindery equipment for production

• Adjust operations for efficiency and quality control

• Review and follow job orders for production needs

• Conduct other duties to facilitate the bindery process

• Maintain workspace safety and organization

Requirements:

• Certified in Bookbinding and completed an apprenticeship

• 4+ years of relevant experience in bindery roles

• Skills in operating machinery like collators and binders

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and math proficiency

• Capacity to lift 75lbs and adapt to various shifts
