Chemical Technician

Support liquid waste management as a Chemical Technician with GFL in Ottawa, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on inventory, shipment preparation, safety compliance, and customer service.

GFL is seeking a Chemical Operator to join their processing facilities team. You will handle chemical waste inventory, prepare shipments, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Providing timely service to clients while maintaining excellent customer relations is a key aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory and pack chemical waste at client sites

• Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments

• Ensure waste processing meets safety standards

• Complete proper paperwork for waste management

• Attend Household Hazardous Waste collection events

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent

• Familiarity with waste management regulations

• Previous experience in waste management preferred

• Valid G class Driver’s license required

• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work outdoors
