Permacon is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coach staff, maintain safety and productivity standards, and optimize operations at its facilities. This position demands strong communication and supervisory skills, along with a commitment to continuous improvement and high product quality. You'll oversee daily functions on the plant floor, maintain compliance with OHS standards, and manage team schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor hourly production employees

• Conduct routine product inspections and safety audits

• Lead daily and weekly meetings to discuss performance

• Issue work permits and manage emergency situations

• Collaborate on recruitment and participate in inventory counts

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing

• High school diploma or relevant technical diploma

• Strong leadership and communication abilities

• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

• Attention to detail and initiative in problem-solving
