Sign Fabricator

Sign FX is a well‑established sign company in Ottawa that has been serving clients across Canada for over 25 years. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a sign fabricator / welder to our team in our manufacturing facility.

Qualified applicants will have experience manufacturing all types of signage, acrylic faces, custom metal work, pylon signs, channel letters, etc. The successful candidate will fabricate signs from start to finish and will be able to work independently as well as collaboratively on large projects when needed.

Knowledge and experience with safely using a variety of machines and tools is required.

• Understand and navigate work orders and shop drawings
• Be able to work on multiple jobs at once
• Be confident with metal work, welding, saws, etc.
• Be able to work with acrylic and Lexan sign faces
• Lay vinyl when required
• Have knowledge of lighting systems
• Construct wall signs from start to finish

• A good understanding of sign manufacturing, from initial design through to final installation
• Knowledge with Matthews Paint
• CNC or laser operation
• Forklift certification
• Fall arrest certification
• Suspended powered platform certification
• Aerial lift certification

Job Types: Full‑time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
